In December 2017, in partnership with the Alliance Française of Kumasi, the Green Ranch at Lake Bosomtwe invited about 30 children under 12 years of the nearby villages of Abrodwum and Abaase, alongside some of the younger siblings or children of our staff members to board a chartered trotro and go to attend a Children Christmas Show for the kids of the Alliance Française of Ahodwo, in Kumasi. Some of the kids had never been outside of the Lake. It was pure magic ! To add to the fairy, we made sure the kids were offered some customized food and beverages in the gardens of the Alliance. A Christmas that would be remembered for years :)

In 2020 and 2021, with the support of some generous guests who granted some financial funds through a Foundation for the Needy, the Green Ranch at Lake Bosomtwe built 12 highly ventilated compost toilets for the residents of Abaase community. An opening ceremony was organised at the end of 2021 with lots of food and drinks shared among all those involved in that project ! 

Since 2011 until today, the Green Ranch at Lake Bosomtwe has been regularly organising lakeshore clean-ups alongside the constant maintenance of the lake side road which rainy season after rainy season, gets damaged and partly destroyed ; Da'Kwadwo with some helping hands that we pay for the efforts, has been fixing and repairing the road endlessly. In 2019, a bridge that was threatening to collapse, got strengthened just on time by some tons of concrete and many hours of hard workmanship !
